.....So I was doing a service call that was blocks away from "Master Z's". They are South eastern WI largest Rec room supplier. I rarely buy things at places like this since the internet is so much cheaper. But they had many cues and OB-2's on display. They had a few Demo OB-2's which was cool because most times (for me) they won't let you use a stick "you chalk it you bought" policy.

The sales rep let me fit one to a Shon (didn't have a piloted joint but did have correct thread). So I immediately started with the BHE tests to see how it compared to my 3142 turned down to 12.25mm. I was more then impressed. I have tried many times to master the the set up shot where you aim the CB/OB straight in (various distances) then pivot the back hand for maximum english. Shot after shot the OB split the pocket. For whatever reason on my table with my 314 it always veers the OB of path. I am not sure if this has to do with the pivot point. If so then I believe because I have such a long reach that my pivot point for my shaft must not match where I actually bridge.

GREAT now I have to buy another shaft! :banghead:

Why can't I find something and stick with it.

Opinions please on the BHE/pivot point thing. This is still a new subject for me.

Thanks!

I loved the way the OB-1 felt when shooting with one at the Super Billiards Expo two years back in their exhibit booth.

Nice people as well.

Sounds like your going to need a bigger house for all the cues and tips you keep running through. I was reading up on BHE not too long ago, it sounds like it's your pivot point. The only way to really know if it is or not is to try yours and theirs the same day, especially since you haven't been practicing BHE enough to have a consistent muscle pattern.

That's just what I've read, take it for what it's worth. Lord knows you've been playing longer than I. lol

WAY old! My God, you're almost as old my woman!

But I'll reserve my final decision for when we finish off our match of one pocket. It still stands at 4-3, me leading...So long as we aren't playing on your table, those pockets are tighter than (editing self in fear of bad rep).

You must be looking in the mirror.
I believe I was in the lead!

It's the only reason I remember the score...if you were leading, I would've forgotten about it by now. lol
