It's been awhile....

..Since I have Posted here. Been pretty busy with work and family.

I havent been playing that much pool this spring unfortunatley. I still play on a weekly league, and my lack of practice shows. I went undefeated through the first 9 weeks, now I am sitting on a 65% win percentage, a real bummer after a great start..... All due to a lack of practice.

I love this forum, but it is so painfully slow to browse that it drives me nuts. I have high speed connectivity everywhere I surf the web, and of all forums I frequent this one is the slowest. Any plans to upgrade hardware soon?

Hey KC-
Same goes with me my man, work work work. Plus getting into the sunny season leads to BBQ's and GOLF! At least this weekend my local bar is having their Balls'n'Shafts tourney. 32 teams of 2 people play 9 holes of best ball golf in the morning in 4-somes to keep the cheating to a minimum. After we come back and eat lunch at the bar, talley the leaders, and then have a scotch doubles pool tourney. Only 1 game in each match with each win taking 2 strokes off of the golf score. So strategy comes into play if you are way behind in golf you may as well get into the losers bracket early and then roll through picking up the extra points from more matches along the way. Payout to the top 10 teams. My partner and I should do really well as we both play alot of golf and are Sl7's.
