It's George Case - Leather vs Fabric/Logo Strap

Almost every Original It's George case on AZ or ebay has a leather strap but they did come with a Fabric/Logo strap.

Was the Fabric/Logo strap a cheaper model or was it only sold by some retailers?

Just looking for a little history on this style case.
