:D Yah Mike webb , was the reason I retired my Webb Cue.

I dropped my cue onto the brass table rail moulding at the pool room and cracked the butt cap. I continued to play with the stick until it exploded internally.
E mailed the builder Mike Webb , sent it to him. Picked it up at Valley Forge show, (thank You Mark Baer) He completly restored cue to same as new which was 5 years ago. IE. new butt plate, new lacquer, new irish linen wrap!!
Cost was $75. total. the cue looks too nice to play with! I have never played with original shaft as I had a 314 made from Mike Originally.

He called me twice once to acknowledge delivery, and to set up meeting with me to pick up finished Product.

Thank You Mike Webb You are the Best!

tap tap tap for mike webb.. saw him a few times in the lower level of the sbe late at night across the room floor.. didnt get a chance to say hi personally.. but mike is one hell of a guy and very easy to talk to..

at the show, i met up with mike.
he gave me his new cue with his NEW mitered venners.
OMG.
the cue world is gonna flip when they see these new cues coming out of his shop.

i showed it to my friend, bill schick. he shook his head and said god damn.

i showed it to andy gilbert. after 2 minutes of inspecting it, he said, "there is not one cue under this roof here in valley forge with better veneers".

they look like recuts they are so good.

just you AZers wait and see, but dont wait to get on his waiting list, cause i think it's gonna blow up soon.

Thank you Sir
Glad I could help.

Thank you so much for showing the Snake wood cue around. I couldn't be happier with the feedback. I was honored to finally meet Bill Schick.
The road trip on Friday was brutal, but to:
Mark Bear, your cues were flawless. Your imagination is inspirational.
Mike Capone, Absolutely beautiful work.
I would have drove two days, just to see you two.

I wish you did, I enjoy meeting new people. I had some great conversations there,
Dan Janes, always a pleasure.
Paul Fanelli, absolutely incredible cue.
Andy Gilbert, Travis of Blackcreek, Cory and Michelle, Troy of On The Hill, Mike Gulyassy, Jim Reeves, Steve Lomax and Joe Blackburn, Carolina Cues, Jeff Prather, Unique products, Pool Table Magic and more, and of course the players and spectators,
The pleasure was all mine.
Thank you all so much, I had a great time.

Mike, my friend Tony speaks very highly of you (and the new cue you made for him). I'm out to get a few sticks from a couple makers, you're up there on the list.

P.s; let me know if you need any business cards, a website redesign or anything! :-)

Mike is aces, no doubt about it. Too bad you're addicted to Predator, Mike makes a great playing shaft. When I bought my first Webb, I had been playing with Predator for about a year more or less, Mike let me take a Pred and one of his shafts and said for me to exchange one of them when I made up my mind. I played with both and preferred Mike's over the Pred. I don't load up with a lot of spin though and maybe the Pred didn't make as much difference for me.

I met up with Mike at Valley Forge too. He was hanging with Bogey at the time and a friend of mine from home also named Bogie. Shared some funny stories and a laugh or two. A great guy and a great cuemaker.

It was a pleasure seeing you again Mike. Keep up the good work.
