I received both at roughly the same time and have spent most of my playing with this combo. I have another cue with a radial pin and a couple of CF shafts, so there's been some swapping around. This combo yields the best synergy though, in my opinion. Everything works well together.
I like the balance here. The hit, accuracy and control all align excellently with my skill level and gives me some solid confidence at the table. I think they look great together, as well.
Now, I have also ordered a deep brown dark roasted shaft for this. I'm very interested to see how actual wood plays here (The standard maple shaft that came with it hits good, but I can't stand 13mm tips anymore). I have a PureX inFUZEd (in a different joint) and really like it a lot, so I'm thinking Kielwood will be nice here, as well. I chose not to go with PureX, however, because I wanted a deeper brown that I think will look exceptional on this cue.
