I suggested Harolds, as it's probably the nearest restaurant to the convention center; its a straight run.

There is also a 24/7 diner nearby for late night sessions at SBE or Sandcastle.

I went to the 1st SBE. Loved it. Bought a cue. Watched the ladies play.
Went again the following year...bought more cues. I'm currently in Florida during the Winter so I cannot attend. Definitely go if you can.

OK, I'll be honest. I don't play good enough to scare your blind grandmother. But whatever the location I love SBE. I go to fondle the cues.

Last year I watched some fat kid rake in $20 every three minutes, maybe less. I guess I also spent some time watching Jennifer pretty close too.

When your a geezer you get your thrills however you can. As a Jersey boy I can tell you that the local hotels are nice and safe, for Jersey.
