the poolroom basement is strictly mine, looks doesnt matter (as long as its not flatout ugly), i want a table that shoots well, something that is going to help me hone my game for gambling and tourneys. I like diamonds...if i run across a good deal on a used one id probably just grab it up, but in the meantime im seeing several tables on ebay, really good deals it seems like except you have to pick them up, if one comes available near me id hate to miss out, problem is I dont know much about these tables. Im seeing
Brunswick--sportking, medalist, centennial and of course GC's 1,2,4
Gandy
Connely
Kasson
Olhausen
im familiar with the GC1, seen the olhausens on some of the tourneys, and I know allison is a kasson rep now. Some of these tables are really cheap......500 to 1000 range and look nice, people just need to get them out of their house (or the pool room is closing and selling out). Which tables should i be looking for and which should i be staying away from. It will probably be the end of this year or next summer before i actually am ready to buy, but if i see a steal before then i can store it. Im going to contact the US Open about buying the tables they have there after the event, but i have a feeling they will want more than i want to pay. Like i said, i want the best playing used table i can get for the money, and im trying to get out for a reasonable cost.....any advice?

Buy my AMF Pro 9' table, Please!!!

Letting it go for $1050.00 just because I have to have it out of here instantly. We're moving and can't take it I don't have a place to store it.

I bought it from a good friend under 2 years ago for $1400.00 and it is as nice now as the day I bought it.

I will post pics if you want to see it.

Looks just like this one, although this one is not mine but one I found on the web for an example...

This is a great deal for this table. I say buy this if you can. It is so much like a gold crown you will never know that it's not. If this is not feasable I say get a Gold Crown or a Diamond for sure.

It's a steal.

The Slate support on this AMF is actually much thicker and more solid than my Gold Crown III was. My poskets are also a little more snug than the GCIII as mine are shimmed down to 4 1/2" Snug.

It's covered with Championship Tour Edition stretched as tight and as even as possible. I had Simonis 760 on my GCIII and this is noticably quicker than the 760 was.

I got it for $1400.00 about 1.5 years ago and that was a great deal when I got it.

Comes with a set of "Well Played" Aramith balls, red dot cue and an Oak rack...

Cloth will be removed carefully enough that it could be reused if one desired..

3 piece 1" thick wood backed slate incase I didn't already mention it.

Any advice?

I have owned lots of tables and most recently have owned two Diamonds, a seven footer which I loved but traded up for a new Diamond Pro nine footer. Believe me when I say, unless you get a Diamond you will never experience the best. I know that Diamond will often sell off their used tables after a big event such as the BCA in Las vegas. My advice, call them and see what kind of deal they will bake with you. You won't regret it.

All the major brands make competition tables and they all have pros and cons, If it were me I'd buy jedi v mans table or one just like it. Used tables hold their vaule, new ones dont. If Jedi v man bought that table new he'd be taking a bigger hit than $400 . Theres some really sweet deals out there, like jedis, expect to pay $750 - $1,800.

I don't want to sell it but I haven't a choice in the matter, it has to go and I have to move it much quicker than I would like.

I've sold a LOT of tables on here and have a solid reputation for standing behind what I sell and seeing it through 110%. And being this is my own personal table, I am confident who ever gets it is going to love it.

It's getting listed in my local paper tomorrow morning as I am rather pressed for time.
