Ivorine 4

I just finished working with some Ivorine 4 and is it a pain in the butt. I was cutting some down to 1" and drilling a 5/8" hole. Any suggestions for working with this stuff? Or is there a good substitute in white for butt caps and joints?

Actually Ivorine 4 is quite good stuff. Its very clean and extremely bulletproof. Compared to the Ivorines of the past that had tons of trash in the material, the new 4 is superb. Makes one of the best ferrules you've ever tried...stays clean well too.
Its so strong though that you'll need to use carbide to cut it...not tool steel. In fact its so tough that it'll flatten the teeth off a new hack saw blade by simply cutting one ferrule off the ferrule size rod.
