ivory/amboyna 50 point murrell finished in all its glory!

Nice Cue

A lesson to all cuemakers to follow...see how the JPs ringwork lines up perfectly with the cue/shaft ringwork...that is how its supposed to be done.

I have owned a KM merry widow and it played very nice...that cue is in Japan right now.

Sorry to admit this, but I missed this one on the first go-around as well. It appears to me that we have a similar taste. That's a great stick :-)

i really like the murrell you have looks great! i am getting addicted to his work.

is that a 3/8-11 pin on your cue? i have 3 murrells now and all of mine have that pin, you just dont see very many of his cues with them.

I agree

Yea, I like that!!! Those JP's Ring work line up with the Cue's joint ring work. That is attention to detail!!!
Like I said before, the Cuemakers are the best Capmakers.
They can spot me the 6,7,8 and 4 games on the wire, race to 5.. And I still won't play...:o

lol,,, i was very surprised he made the butts JP with matching points and veneers.

he must have obsessive complusive disorder every inlay lines up every point is the same length and so sharp it scary, for the money and the workmanship i couldnt do any better i dont think.

Kenny's standards for accuracy are top-notch, and it is amazing how much time he spends to achieve this quality. If a part is not up to his own standards, it gets into the trash bin.

Since his prices are extremely fair, I think that ordering a fancy cue from him is a little like stealing. However, I am happy that I robbed him once and got away with it :D

Some months ago, I showed my Murrell to an older local cuemaker. He took a short measure, and told me that he could show me at least five flaws in the cue within a minute. When I asked him to go ahead, he started with the length of the points, went over to the alignment of rings and points, had a look at the finish and gluelines, inspected the wrap and found really nothing to complain about. His last sentence was: "Nee, der ist toll." (No, this one is amazing)

Detlev
