I think the only one benefiting from doing this is the cuesmith you will be paying to do it. honestly the material predator uses for ferrules is soft and light, changing to ivory will make it heavier and change the amount of deflection. Not to mention VOID THE WARRANTY. and the walls of a z2 ferrule are very thin and pron to cracking, I don't think ivory with thin walls like this would hold up very well. But If wanting to try it for $100 + tip.:grin-devilish: and I wont warranty this work against cracking.
