ivory ferrules

is a .675 square large enough to make a ferrule?
are ivory ferrules usually capped or just sleeves?
screwed and glued or a slip on?

.675" diameter is large enough to turn round for ferrules.
Ivory ferrules are usually capped for added strength.
Put a small glue relief hole through the cap.
