Ivory for flat face joint

A friend/cue maker is making a cue for me from a nice 4 point house cue. I'd like to have a flat face ivory joint like Bill Stroud makes. Does anyone have a small piece of "legal" ivory which would be suitable to use as a joint sleeve?
