I love your Joss cue. Very beautiful. Did Dan Janes build it, or is this a Joss West? Sorry, I forgot to read your description. I have no money for the cue. I am just curious about it.

JOSS Custom Cues built this Cue.

Thank you for asking. Can you believe it this is a perfect bar beater! They way it plays astounished me and yesterday a thought came.
Keep it. Too beautiful. Fun to play with.
Sold.
Thanks again,

Joss Ivory Joint

Nice cue. I remember the first ivory joint I bought from Joss (East) was similar, two shafts....and the price?? $160.00 Those were the days.

^^^ There is no Joss East. Only Joss, then B.S. split off to form JossWest. Thank god no one has called it a Josh in this thread yet, lol.

I believe the lettering reveals this to be an early model cue from the period when the two were still together (68-72). They turned out a bunch of these during that time, and they can be both the best or worst of cue. I've had two that never missed a ball, and two that should've never left the workshop. (sold one here on AZ I'd like to get back one day).

Added bonus for the joint fo sho!

Good looking cue, Nick!!! GLWS.

I think you right

The "J" in the logo is not leaning like a " /". And the points are dead nuts.
Early 70's would be my guess. Had another one with no logo looked exactly like this one with Yellow and Black alternating veneers with the same Joint and rings Ebony into straight grain maple with the Ebony Rear.
Should have never traded it away. But after my friend shot with it he offered his Ivory Joint Scruggs with Turquoise inlays for it.
Timi refinished that one and built me a shaft for it. This one plays just like it. Timi was pretty sure he did the other Cue. I'm not asking about this one.
Thinking Keep It.
So WTF!
Keepin it!
Nick :)
