Ivory joint to SS joint

I have R Howard in mint condition with full ivory joint with 3/8x10 pin. I would like SS joint. Balance point is @ 18.5. I have a few questions;
A - will entire cue need refinshing?
b -solid piece of steel or sleeved?
C -about how much bal move forward?
d - send cue & both shafts?
E - Who best to do it?
f - Ballpark on the cost.

Not a good idea, IMO. Better off selling the cue and starting over.

Hi Mr. Rosato
Depending on the final weight and balance your looking for, would depend on whether you go with a full stainless with a standard 5/8 thread or the lighter 3/4x16 thread. Big difference in weight. If your just looking for that little extra punch or just the look. I would go with the 3/4.
