I am thinking of putting an ivory joint on my cue that is currently in production. I have seen one split before, are there special things I need to do to take care of the joint to prevent splitting and so forth?

Hi,

Order a Juma Joint and butt cap. It won't crack. Ivory is a crap shoot in the long run.
