Ivory points

Contact Dave warther. He will tell you all you need to know. Incredibly nice man. he sells point stock for ivory cut to perfection so good you don't have to even machine them just glue them in. Very nice very accurate. Best prices. Matter of fact anyone else your buying ivory from is probably buying from him. :-)

id like to get some v-groove point stock and and start a idea thats been on my mind
 
I want to do vee grove points. Thanks for the Warther links. Would 1/2" square split corner to corner make two points?
 
it would be close. i use a 1.5x1.5 x10'' square and get 8 points using bob dz's point jig. after running the thru the plainer to square everything up they bigger then that but plenty of meat. the ivory from dave will come perfect so no plaining. u might get away with it depending on how wide your points are

jig is the best 60$ youll ever spend. it will pay for itself in 2 or 3 ebony pronged cues
