Ivory vs. Steel...

Search turned up nothing...so sorry if this has been asked before...

I have heard a lot of opinions lately and I thought I would bring the discussion here..

Is there a significant difference between how an ivory joint hits and a stainless steel joint hits and if so which do you prefer?
