Joseph Cues Cue Nut Silver Member Jun 23, 2004 #2 Don, I think you mean sleeving with phenolic. I would bet Blud has ivory joints capped and threaded with no sleeves. I'm guessing he sleeves the butt plate b/c it makes it more durable and does not affect the hit anyway.
