j/b forearm question

What's the most common size forearm length on a j/b cue? Is it the average 12 inch to the handle joint? Thanks in advance

I believe the BCA rule for a jump cue is 41" minimum.
Hence, 29" plus 12".

The World Rules (which BCA uses) state 40" is the minimum size of a pool cue. Assuming most shafts are 29" that means the butt section must be 11" or better. Most do go with 12" just to be on the safe side.
