I have one of these cases that was being used for storage only. but have sold all my cues except my players and figured what the hell may as well use this beauty. Sadly after one use the zipper on the large pocket broke. any1 know how I go about fixing it?

Thanks,
Rob

Send it back to the manufacturer, after one use? WOW. Anyways, find a good leather shop it should be relatively inexpensive to get replaced. The shop that just did my jacket would probably charge 20-40 dollars.

JV (--- not surprised

What did John Barton recommend? Have you tried your local shoe repair guy? Usually they fix zippers on purses and other leather goods in addition to working on shoes.

my shoulder clasp just broke on my rugged case and they are sending me a whole new shoulder strap.

Yes i was. Why would you use a cheap ass case to storr thousand of dallars worth of cues? Think about it!

..what do you mean that your zipper broke?? Your saying the zipper won't engage with each other? No local repair shop will be able to replace the zipper unless they take the case apart, if the zipper won't zip there is a simple fix for that'
It's also possible that you have a knock off case so it probably did not come from JB "John Barton" shop.

because we all love leather, no matter what the chosen fix is,
find an old world shoemaker, if you can.
those guys in todays market are very rare, search one out and make friends.
an old world, old school craftsman has the talent, tools and ingredients for Leather.
there's an older italian guy 2 towns away from me,
worth every peney i spend to get ther, what he knows about leather is incredible.

This just happened to me on a Justis case that was bought for me as a gift...when I was zipping it up the pull on the zipper snapped off because it got caught on some uneven stitching....I brought mine to a local boot maker and he repaired the zipper and refined the crooked stitching for $60.00....good luck
