I purchased this cue a month ago because I wanted an inexpensive way to try out a phenolic one piece tip/ferrule cue for jumping and breaking.
I was surprised the quality of the cue is actually really good, but I just cannot get used to a phenolic tip.
I am now selling this cue to try and recoup most of what I spent on this experiment.
It is a J&J Jump Break Cue Model 2731. It is 19 oz (still has the weight sticker on it), 2 quick release joints, and has only been used with light gray masters chalk for practice in my basement.
The list price on J&J's website is $90. I paid $50+shipping for the cue - a total of $66.
I am hoping to get $55 including shipping.
This really is a good way to try out a phenolic equipped cue for about the same price as getting a phenolic tip installed on your existing cue.
SOLD.
