J&J or Spark Break

So I'm in the market for a new cheap break cue option. J&J and the Sparkbreak obviously comes into mind. They are made by the same manufacturer so I'm wondering what the main difference is. Am I losing out much if I bought the J&J shaft over the Sparkbreak shaft?

Also, I plan on purchasing the shaft and sticking it to a cheapo I have (threads are matching). It has sentimental value to me so I would like to use it somehow...so I wanna turn it into my breaker

I am not interested in other more expensive breakers. I just want to hear feedback from people who have used these before.

I didnt care for the Spark myself, IMHO the J&J is the better buy.

thanks for the reply!

im really just debating whether i should get the entire spark break cue or just get a J&J shaft and stick it to my beloved cheapo Players cue

The benefit to buying the J&J full cue is getting a jump/break at your disposal. The J&J does a fine job jumping as a full-length cue or a jump cue. If you have a jump cue already, though, this is what I would consider the most.

So the butt part doesn't really matter all that much I guess right?

yea at this point i don't care much about its J/B.

If you decide you want the J&J, let me know. I've got a perfect condition J&J jump/break cue that I don't use anymore. It's about 8 months old and I've used it maybe 5 times. I'd take $50.00 shipped for it.
