J.P. Parmentier Pictures of the Derby -- WOW!

Man, these photos really capture the ambience and essence of the Derby City Classic spirit, so much so that I can't pick just one. Check them out on the Main Page.

When husbands come home to their wives with blue hands, somehow it's not quite as bad as lipstick and perfume on their clothing. ;)

The proverbial blue hand means the pool player had a good day at work! :grin-square:

Looks to me like a Bonus Ball huddle with Brandon Shuff, Shannon Daulton, and Johnny Archer on the left. :)

What a talented photographer. If you've ever attempted to take pictures at that event without a flash and without the use of the laser sensor you would understand.

And my deepest apologies for spelling J.P.'s last name wrong. It is Parmentier, not Paramentier. :o

Those pictures are really, really great!! Makes me want to be there in the worst way, too bad it's the wrong time of year for us:(

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Four days to go and still a lot of stuff to shoot, here.

The tricky part of it is to wait until an opportunity for a good picture shows up. But at the same time, I'm missing tons of other shots elsewhere :angry:

My friend Vincent Rochefort from NYC help me by shooting with me these last four days so we could get a few more things without missing. Now I'm on my own from today on!
 
Congrats!! those are some of the absolute best pool pix I have seen. the Cheese shot is about perfect!!
