Well, dag-nabbit!

Hey...the guys on here have a thread going right now about the "Cue from Hell". I'm more concerned and afraid of linking up with "The Psycho/Whacko Bitch From Hell". As soon as I get touched or come into contact I'm going to be forever cursed. YIIIIIIIIIIIIIKES!!!!  (I gotta buy some new shoes so I can run faster) :D

Garlic, holy water and a cross should do the trick.

Marissa,

I normally play in all of the tournaments at Murphy's. I love the room, and usually do quite well there. But the monthly tournament is at Diamond Billiard Club here in Chattanooga this week, so I am gonna stay in town. But if you see Jim Jennings, Billy Tyler, Stevie Moore, Bruce Berrong, Big Nasty, and all of the others there, tell them I said hello.

Which reminds me I should prolly telephone Stevie...

Papa runs a great room. Haven't been there in quite a while because I get lost up there, but I hope to make it at a decent hour Saturday.

I hope you know that Papa Murphy sold the place. He doesn't run it any more. The last tournament I played there was a Viking event (ask MJ if he still has a headache  ). An Asian lady and her family had bought the place from Papa. I heard he had opened a little bar downtown.

Next time you talk to Stevie, tell him I said hello. He and I were roommates for about a year a while back.

Ah, no, that sucks... He's a sweetie-pie. Why'd he sell?

Anyone going to Athens should check out the Jamaican food on Milledge Avenue (208-0000 phone # I think) - you'll never have better. Jerk salmon, rice and peas, spicy cabbage....awesome food but very spicy.

There's also a cuban food place real close to the Brass Rail. Go left out of the parking lot and go about 1-2 miles. Theres a cooking trailer and a dining area right on the left at the stop. Try the tortas and the fruit shakes; the owner is from Peru but makes the best latin food in Athens. The guanavana shake is good with the spicy food, it's a lot like banana.

I lived there for two years and these were the most interesting places to eat ethnic.
