Jacoby cues?

I'm thinking about switching from Predator to Jacoby cues recently and I noticed the price of Jacoby cues are relatively cheap. Do anyone here have ever player with Jacoby cues and how it feels? Is the deflection small? Thanks a lot...

This should be asked in the cue review section.

Jacoby cues are well constructed, have a very nice solid hit (IMHO) but I wouldn't classify them as 'low deflection'. If you want low deflection put a predator shaft on a jacoby butt.

I had a Universal Smart Shaft (low deflection) on a Players butt & went to the Derby City Classic, where I spent 3 days trying numerous cues ranging from $200 to $10,000.

I fell in love with a Jacoby, which I purchased for less than $300. I am enjoying it & found no difficulty making the transition.

I have only been playing for less than 2 years & my game is steadily progressing.

Mine is a "bacote Hustler" which is so well camouflaged that it is constantly mistaken for a "bar cue" or "house cue" so it does not attract thieves or drunks wanting to "try it."

Jacoby people were also the nicest of the sellers & as interested in me as they were in people looking at far more expensive cues.
