Jacoby Edge Hybrid

I am just curious if anyone has had a chance to shoot with the Jacoby Edge Hybrid shaft yet and your feedback on it.
 
I ordered mine from Dave (Jacoby) at last years DCC. He had a prototype that I tried, and was SOLD on it after about 10 minutes. I like the feel of it better than the 314-2 and the OB1 - It falls in between the two (not too soft/mushy, and no annoying DONK when you hit it). So, after about a full year with it....I couldn't be happier.

BTW, it is TOTALLY custom - you could order it in Z or OB2 size (11.75mm), or maybe even smaller up to (I think) 13.5mm, and any size in between....:thumbup:
 
Edge Hybrid Feedback

Thanks for the responses guys. Anyone else out there have any experience with these shafts?
 
I would really like to know what is done to this shaft that makes it low deflection. That's what everyone says now and only Predator and OB really tells the consumer how this is done. From what I understand Predator has patented their technique of hollowing out the tip end, so I'm curious as to how Jacoby would achieve these results? Any website that would explain this?

The Edge Hybrid feels as good to me today as the day I received it! :p There is a bit of negativity in the post (from some that had never even seen, let alone tried the shaft????), so take that into account as well, (I guess, lol).

Well I finally got to a real computer and now I can post that flyer that Jacoby sent to me.....Trusty if you want this for your thread I can post it on there too.

I have played with one for about 6-7 months and love it. Whats really nice about it was that I didn't have any adjustment period. I would highly recommend this shaft to any one.

Thanks you to the ones that replied. I am in process with Jacoby now working on ordering another cue from them and an edge hybrid to go with it. I hope the shaft shoots just as well as the rest of yours. I am already getting excited about my new cue and I have not even got the cost yet.....I hope it doesn't break me.....;)
