I got a Jacoby just cause. I have never played with a Jacoby cue until today. I have played with production and custom cues. The difference with 90% of those cues being price. Sorry to the 5000$ cue guys, just say'n. The Jacoby is now my favorite. 19 in weight, feels like an 18 hits like a 20. Weird description but that's the best way I can describe it. For a cue with a stainless joint it doesn't feel like it. It has a forward balance and the hit is an excellent combination of solid and soft. I don't know what type of tip it has, but it's perfect for this cue. 2 small details kept this 650$ cue from breaking in the four figure club, and I am picky. It has a textured leather wrap and the seam is so close to perfect you can't even see it in some parts . I want it all to be like that. The veneers are clean. If the width of the veneer and spear point outline were an exact match there would be nothing to critique. And they are real close, like I said I am picky.
Absolutely a beautifully built and finished cue. The best cue I have played.
Bravo Jacoby.
