LOL. We've got a couple of costumes to pick from. I'll post up a few pics tomorrow night on Halloween!
Last year, I kept my front door open, but kept the storm door locked. I didn't think we'd get a whole lot of trick-or-treaters and went about my business around the homefront.
As soon as it got dark, a group of 7- and 8-year-olds approached the entranceway to my home and tapped on the door. Before I could get there, my 120-pound black lab stormed his way like a buffalo to greet the young tikes. They all screamed in unison with fear.
Their parents came running forward, wondering what the commotion was. I then surged forward with a basket of candy in tow and gave each one of the frightened kiddies a double dose of sweets for having to endure my canine welcoming committee.
Best thing about Halloween is the time change. Don't forget to set your clocks BACK one hour tonight.
