Hello Ray, your doing a great job getting this tournament together, this is Jack Barnett, son of the ironman. Im getting really excited as we get closer to the memorial tournament. If you happened to know my father then you knew he loved pool and loved to gamble high, well his blood also runs through my body and I also like to play pool, really i like the game of one pocket, allthough im not a very good player but as long as the game is right you can bet what you want to. i would also like to thank brandon shuff for teaming up with ray to do this tournament for me and my family, and jerry olivier for getting the cues ready for tournament. Hopefully we will have a large field for all three events, its looking like ive got confirmation from a few friends that are willing to donate some more added money for the tournament. hope to see everyone at bogies billiards the weekend of july 4th. thanks for all the kind remarks ive seen on this thread about my father. missed but never forgotten.

Bettt what u want....I like it..Spoken in True James Barnett form....Your father was definately a great man and helped a lot of ppl..Im sure He is up there getting his live stream ready as we speak..Thanks for helping to start such a big event in honor of a great man..Best wishes

Jack, it's definitely an honor to help with directing and promoting this event. It's a great feeling I receive everytime I check up on the thread. I have no doubts that this will be one of Texas greatest events. I'm looking forward to seein you there buddy. Maybe if we get some time, we can mess around with a little one pocket. I got a question about the players meeting/auction......Are these 100% payback? I didnt see this on the flier anywhere, and I know are area has lost alot of bidders from auctions not being paid back 100%....This should be known to bidders?

Everyone that works my events gets paid for their efforts. All involved in running this event will earn their keep by providing a great event that will be enjoyable by ALL. We use no volunteers.

Auctions are not allowed in Texas.

Just got the Jerry Olivier cues for the winners of each division, they turned out awesome. Thanks Jerry for all your work you put into these cues, and thanks for supporting this tournament for my father.

There will be BBQ catered for this event, T-shirts available, Bounties if you beat a top player, cash awards for "most exciting" player !!

The winners of each division will receive a custom Jerry Olivier James Barnett Ironman Memorial cue!!! 9 ball, One Pocket and Ladies 9 Ball.

There will also be a special Trophy for the winners that are being custom made as well!!

We are so fortunate to have a family like the Barnett's involved in pool here in Texas and to have so many great rooms like Bogies Billiards!!

Looking forward to seeing y'all there!!!
