You guys should just give him a call and get this horse in the race before someone else does!! He is a monster on a bar table as we all know.
 
I still haven't gotten a call from James. Anyone heard? I've played most people that will match up around here, and this guy gave me the seven and laughed the whole time. I didn't hit a ball for almost two weeks, and shook when I picked my cue back up. I had to beat on some bar players just to get back in stroke. Great bar table player. I'm trying to get up the cash to put him in. Family and all, it's tough. I'll try to find a way if he calls, though.

It is just as easy for "James" to answer the PM's as it is for me to pick up the phone and call ??????????????

This is weird. Guy gets on here to get staked and didn't get back with people interested. Could someone have used his phone numbers to portray James? I mean, nobody has actually talked to him since this thread started. He's got my number.
 
Maybe someone else already staked him ? I've seen James play in tournaments at Shooters many times, and he usually wins or finishes top 3 in 1 pocket and 9 ball.
 
James

is a real 'grinder' and has the tendency to wear down a lot of opponents, but he is almost always their at the finish line besides being a real nice guy.

My sentiments also, even if my nickname for him is James "Scaredy-Cat" Walden. :p :D :p :D

He was the first poolplayer to show me by example why it is so important to shoot the money ball that is sitting in the pocket the same way you shoot a 5 foot cut shot. At first I didn't know why he took so much time to shoot such an easy shot. I used to just pop them in the hole. He takes more time to shoot a ball in the jaws than any other player I have ever seen. (and that's a good thing) :D

Mission one This is so bizarre..I was with James and Mike Johnson when the idea for the tournament was conceived..It was my understanding that Mike would co-sponsor James and that James had a guy in OKC that would back the rest....

What the hell happened to that ?
