Thanks
Thanks for posting up the finishers Chris!!
Yes, I finished 9-12th. Brian & I were 4-4 when I had a left handed shot. When I went to line it up, I caught a splinter in my thumb!! I looked at my shaft and it was split about 5"!! It killed my thinking.:embarrassed2: lost 7-4.
I switched to my back up shaft, but it just felt different....probably because it wasn't split! LOL.
It was a great field!! We had 49 players and everyone got along and competed in a professional way.
I will be posting a set guideline for graduating from the "mid-level" status.
Corey Dordek is officially graduated with (4) wins, (1) 2nd and (1) 3rd. Corey is a great competitor and sportsman. I look forward to seeing him in the top of the field at the Fast Eddies events and other Open events.
1st - Corey "CorDor" Dordek
2nd - Brian Sanders
3rd - Joe Mac Macnamara
4th - Oscar Velasquez
5-6th - Benny "Bankin Benny" Scott, Chris "Big C" Morris
7-8th - John Powers, Patrick Hill
Thanks to everyone for coming out and making this event a success!! James Hanshew of Hanshew Custom Cues has been a supporter of this tournament for over 2yrs now!! I would like to thank everyone for showing your support for James! He does a great job. I admire how he is always looking for a way to improve. Something many of us pool players can relate to!
Special thanks to Jim Ashby and Clicks Billiards Waco too! Jim runs a great store for Clicks! It's always clean and orderly. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Let's not forget Lewis Jones and Paul Blank of the Fast Eddies 9ball tour. These guys are the best!! They have been such an inspiration to me and have supported our mid-level event from the word go!! Thanks Lewis & Paul!!
Our next event is February 7th.

Big C said:This was a big and talented field. Joe Mac had a good showing and finished 3rd. Brian Sanders was shooting lights out, taking command of the winners bracket. Corey suffered an early loss, but got it together and outlasted the field to finish as the Champion. Ray H. was playing well, but his shaft broke and he had to continue with his backup and clearly affected his play. Better luck next time Grandpa! Hope to see you all again next month.
