I prefer straight payout ring games vs the points system stated above. I'd like to get some cheap sets going Friday night to get the feel of the tables, maybe $1/$2 or $2/$5 games. Money paid out to players at the end of each game, no points.Bigtruck said:Viet - I haven't played golf on the snooker table in a long time. I do know that each player must start from the center table breaking end and must pocket their ball in all six pockets in order. The first one to hit the last pocket wins. There is also a ball placed on a cube of chalk. If you knock it off, you get a penalty? Hopefully someone with more knowledge of golf will chime in.
The ring games we have been playing are $10 or $20 tables with a maximum of 6 players per table. You get 1 point on the 5ball and 2 points on the 10ball. First one to 10 points wins $10 or $20 from all other players. NO safety play! All shots must be an honest attempt at potting a ball. All players who play in the ring games will have a $3 green fee for the night.

Bigtruck, how early will you be up there on Friday evening? Me and my buddy plan to leave Austin around 5pm and head to Waco.
