On the local news this morning in D.C., they did a segment on a lemonade war between a 9-year-old and an 11-year-old and a sausage vendor in Salem, Massachusetts, in front of a sports stadium.
The tikes wanted to sell their beverages to sports fans, but a sausage vendor became upset went these young lemonade entrepreneurs took away some of his customers. The upset sausage vendor was Pool Player Jarrod Clowery. He was standing in front of his vendor cart, pointing his finger at the unlicensed lemonade stand. The local authorities ended up giving the youngsters a license until school starts.
The last time I saw Jarrod competing was at Snooker's in Providence, Rhode Island, at a Joss Tour event earlier this year. He did turn up in Maryland on the road with "Shorty" several months ago, and he played in last year's Open as well.
I hope Jarrod comes to the Open again this year so that I can say: "Rack 'em, Sausage"
