Jasmin Ouschan has been under the radar, participating in few events. Only placing third in one event for the whole year.

Despite her overwhelming talent at a young age, it is easy to say she has a healthy career ahead.

Has Jasmin gone underground working the "practice room" instead of tournament titles?

Is this a sign of a more general problem? Instead of pushing junior billiard players into pros, perhaps they just need time to figure things out on their own?

Whatever the case Jasmin is talented in billiards, but is being talented enough to stay interested in the sport as a career?

On a side note: Dating someone from Austria sounds way more appealing than dating someone from China. Even though China has several female players winning titles, I can't get over the pollution and political issues in their country.

I think I read somewhere that her longtime pool coach (from the time she was under 10 years old) is her boyfriend..

I would think Jasmin will continue to play pool as long as whatever drove her to play pool is still one of the reasons she plays today. Pool players already know they aren't going to get rich playing so I would guess there is a more fulfilling reason.

Strictly only my opinion, but I have always thought her to be the hottest pool chic second only to Jeanette Lee. I for sure think she gives Boranna, Emily, and those others the 7 out easily but that's just me. What say you?

I have played Jasmin - in US Open 10-ball - beat her.

I have never played Albin, and thats probably a good thing in order to keep my 100% record against the Ouschans

i join too bragging, also beat her once, but that was long before she was worldchamp......and shes also responsible for one of my worst defeats (beside that 9 0 ortmann handed me once), 8 ball rt 7, was 1 0 ahead and thought well, good start, when i finnished that thought it was game over lol 7 1, not a chance anymore.....

She probably woke-up and got a real job. I think her biggest $$ year so far is around 60k. Try living in Austria on $60,000.

I based my post on her sponsor's Facebook posts congratulating her for those victories. I follow Predator on Facebook and remembered seeing a few so I went back and looked. Now let's see if I can figure out how to attach images - sorry I'm new - well I used to just lurk.... Don't judge me.
