I just got word that there will be a wake at 1PM Thursday the 18th for the late Banks Hall of Fame inductee Javanley 'Youngblood' Washington, immediately followed by a funeral at 1:30. at:

For those who missed any of this story, Youngblood apparently died sometime shortly before July 28th, but died alone, without contact either with the pool world or his own extended family for quite a number of years. He had become kind of a recluse over the last 10 or 20 years. After he died, and his body remained unclaimed at the coroner's office or morgue for a month or so, an employee at a store he had recently frequented became curious about him, and her google search turned up his Hall of Fame induction on OnePocket.org. She contacted us, and we were able to get in touch with one of his sons, who has since claimed the body and made these funeral arrangements.
