As long as im thinking about yesterdays - here goes - Jay Flowers is he still alive and well? Hope so - He made a great case for my Balabushka back in 1980 something, about the same time Gerry Titcomb and her husband were selling Bakers Billiards. hope you are doing well, Jay. thanks for the memories. saw him quite a few years back

I saw Jay at one of the Huebler Bar Box tournaments back in the late 80's (possibly 1988 or 1989??), and I believe that the tournament was at the Showboat in Las Vegas. Haven't seen or heard from him since, but I do remember he was still based out of Florida at that time. He did great work and was a super nice guy!

you might call Robbie @ bakers billiards, in Tampa. Jay and Robbie are good friends.

Jay 'got religion' and straightened his act out. He plays league out of Baker's Billiards in Tampa and comes to Planet 9-Ball a coupleof times a months. His looks have changed (whose haven't), but he still play OK. I have one of his original cases ( I 'think' they were called Jeff-Q cases) that actually belonged to HIM at one time and says JAY FLOWERS down the side. He'd probably buy it back from me, but the Antiques & Collectibles dealer in me wants to keep it for another 25 years and then put it in the SMITHSONIAN...
