Jayson Shaw

I know him pretty well and he doesn’t take himself too seriously. I didn’t see the thing that this thread is about and I don’t need to. It’s Mcup, it’s hype, nobody’s mad. They are all getting paid and working hard. They have put on one hell of a show. Everyone wins.

Best
Fatboy 💪😃
Thanks, Fatboy
You just screwed my head back on straight. I get it.

Fatboy with the reason again. I'm sure he's a nice guy in person. Just seems to play the villain well. COME ON! lol

Don't be too hard on yourself. I agree with both of your sentiments – the arrogance and cruelness of Shaw, especially in regards to Earl, and that you probably don't want to be "that guy" on the forum.

In truth, Shaw's demeanor and barking have rubbed me the wrong way - really talented player, but...
It's funny... I'm pulling a part of the above out and changing one thing. See if you catch it...

"I agree with both of your sentiments – the arrogance and cruelness of Earl"

The above could be used to describe Earl countless times over.

I really do love AZB during the Mosconi....lol

Multiple instances of shaw having little to no sportsmanship. The mocking of earl is the worst of it. Heck even Filler was being a little bitch making fun of the crowd. Jayson has massive ego. Just show a little respect. Keep your passion, but stop being a dick about everything.
“Massive ego” seems to go with the territory. True sportsmen are all likely still amateurs. ‘Making a living’ & ‘killer instinct’ comes to mind when contemplating the origins of ‘ego’.

Earl's pretty harmless these days from my perspective, but then again I don't go picking on senior citizens, even if they were real jerks in the past, that's not what men do.

Strange how the inner id comes back to haunt.
1. Jayson Shaw literally cries to Emily about the pressures of competing in an interview.

2. In another interview he tells how much Earl helped him when he had no home. Lived with him. Taught him volumes about championship billiards.

3. Tries to publicly tear down his mentor in the largest press conference in the sport. Beats his chest and boasts about his straight-shooting ability, while his sobby towel is barely dry.

4. Man with divine talent looking like a head lighted deer struggling to chalk the cue. Karma's a bitch.

I just thought publicly baiting Earl was classless.
He is really. Seen it several times.
