I wonder if John Barton has seen the Stout case on seyberts website and what does he think about them taking his rugged design basically copying the whole case . Wonder if they are up to par with the JB rugged.

Yep. He knows about them. If you know anything about John, you already know how he feels about them.

And lastly, are they up to Johns level of quality, durability etc? Ive spent a good bit of time talking case construction with John. Complete with him drawing me diagrams.
So to answer the last one. I highly, and I mean HIGHLY doubt it.

This was asked on Facebook. John said they are trying to sell all the stouts asap so they can start reselling jp's full time. Basically, they are pieces of shit & just another copy of design but no where any performance & protection.

I was thinking of buying a JB case from Seyberts, until I saw that the inside of the lid states, "Made By JB Cases for Seyberts.com." No no NO. Nothing against Seyberts, but I don't want their marketing etched into another merchant's product.

It's just too much of a blatant copy/ripoff that I won't order one.
