JD Custom - Geniune Ivory

Now I already know many will not believe the fact that this cue has genuine ivory, but believe me, I know ivory when I see it. This cue was one of the last Joel made before he started having issues with customs. If you just do a little research, you will find that Joel did indeed use real ivory in some of his earlier cues. If you wish, you can look Joel up on Facebook and ask him yourself.
This cue features the following specs.
Ebony Butt Sleeve:
8 Large Ivory Spear Tips
8 Small Ivory Spear Tips
4 Ivory “Split Flower” Inlays with Turquoise Centers
Birds-Eye Forearm:
4 Amboyna “Bridged” Points with 3 veneers of Black, Natural, and Light Blue and an Ivory Spear Tip within each Point
4 recut short Ivory Points with same veneers between each long Amboyna Point
Custom Ringwork at all positions. This is the only white in the entire cue that is not ivory. I was informed that Joel just used some stock rings he already had for the rings. Everything else is GENIUNE IVORY.
Has a Ivory Joint with a 3/8x10 pin. (2) shafts with custom ringwork. 3 piece set Custom Joint Protectors. Cue weighs around 19.5 ounces with either shaft.
Wrap is a very nicely done Black Sea Snake. This wrap did not appeal to me when I was purchasing the cue, but when I received the cue, the wrap actually feels very good to my hands. I’m pretty sure the buyer will be surprised just as I was.
Butt is completely straight. Both shafts have a very minor taper roll. Surely it does not affect playability.
Signed: Joel Davivas “Custom Cue” Sept. 20, 2008 in the forearm.

Very nice cue! And no matter what anyone might think, all white is ivory as was stated (other than the rings). I should know, I bought it first =)

GLWS!
