This is a JD Custom from Joel Dadivas. I bought this cue about 4 years ago. Reasonable offers accepted - emphasis on REASONABLE
It has always been kept in a case except for when it first arrived and I test
hit it about 5 balls. Joel makes an excellent cue, but his finish work is not the
best. The butt is dead straight, but you can feel the ivory and some of the
other inlays through the finish. It looks amazing!! Butt sleeve is ebony with
ivory and turquoise inlays. Wrap is real sea snake skin. Forearm has long points
of amboyna burl with ivory spears inlayed and 3 bridged veneers. Short points
are ivory with 3 veneers. The joint is a solid ivory 3/8-10 flat faced. No worries
about warpage on this one as I've had it for 4 years in Southern California.

All the white except the rings on this cue is IVORY.. including the solid joint!!
Due to the finish situation, I'll let this go for SOLD including shipping.

Butt - 15.3 oz - Dead straight
Shaft 1 - 4.0 oz - 13.5mm - Slight taper roll
Shaft 2 - 3.9 oz - 13.4mm - Slight taper roll

two questions.
Yet to see a JD cue with real ivory as he doesnt do it forthe import/export laws.

Also why on earth would you make a cue and use Ivory on everything all the inlays Joint Points and then not the Ringwork. That seems very odd to me.

Beautiful cue nontheless and JD Makes a great playing cue Ive oned 4 and played with at least 10 all hit very similar.

Really is a Beauty if you change your mind on a trade let me know. I got a Nitti and a AE Cue I'd be willing to trade.

It is definitely real ivory. It was a one off cue that he made. As for why not the rings, because he used some stock rings he had. The rings make the ivory all the more obvious. In person, the ivory is pure white, while the ivorine in the rings is almost translucent. He also covered all the ivory with black magic marker before he shipped it lol As for trades, I'm sorry, but this is strictly a sale.

I've followed JD's sales on ebay for years. He described in his listings that was using real pre ban ivory in his cues. And until he had a hiccup at customs did he finally switch to ivorine. Also to confirm about the ringwork. If you look at my previous posts you will see that the cue i had donated had the exact same ivorine ringwork.
