I wonder why she hasn't been recognized as a potential player in the IPT. I think it would be great to see her playing again. I think she belongs on the list before some that are. Don't you agree?

Interesting to note that there were 4 Hall of Famers that will not be attending. She didn't need to apply. She was invited like the other HOFers. The other 3 HOFers that aren't playing are Robert Byrne, Raymond Cuelemans, and Steve Mizerak. I'm sure they all had valid reasons for not attending an event with a sure 30k in their pockets. Our loss.

Thanks TX Poolnut. I thought she would have been automatically invited since she's in the HOF. Just never saw any discussion mentioning her. The thought came to mind when reading the posts about Allison Fisher playing against the men. I saw Balukas play in a 9-ball tournament in Toledo that was directed by Joe Kerr many years ago. It was a mens tournament and she did quite well. I would love to see her play Allison in a challenge match! She'd be a quite a disadvantage since she hasn't played competition for such a long time but she definately is capable.

Our loss? What do you mean by that?

Mizerak is practically paralyzed on his one side from a stroke, Cuelemans is a 3-cushion player who has never played professional pool, and Robert Byrne didn't get in the hall of fame for his playing accomplishments -- he got in for writing a popular line of instructional books.

Jean has not played professionally in years. I have tried to contact her to do appearances in the past to no avail. She has pretty much left pool and only goes to WPBA events periodocoly.

I think that the only thing that would get her back out in the open would be another Sigel/Jones type match, and even then it is a slim possibility.

The only time that Jean plays now is in her Thursday night 9-Ball tournaments in her pool room.

Ok, Wendy, I have to ask, which one are you in the picture?

Actually, never mind. It doesn't matter which one you are. I think you are both hot! ;)

Does she win them often?
