I was thrilled to return home today to see Jeanette in the finals with Allison. Sorry Green Guy. I think you and other posters here discounted Ms. Lee. After playing her at the DCC and watching her gamble with the guys, I guess it is no suprise to me! I'm sure that the new influx of snooker players will make their mark here eventually. Until then, go Jeanette!!!

Incidently Green Guy, how come you rarely mention Jeanette? Are you fixated with the Brits?

Yeah that's it for damn sure, if they are Irish or UK, then it's his pets. I come in on the site and I see Jeanette playing a shot, that's cool, but shes laying her chin down on the cue and you cant see a damn thing. Know of any other good reason someone would stay up most of the night playing? I've never read Jeanette's book. Was it written before her marriage to George Breedlove? If you watch her play now, she is a far different than a few years ago! She attacks the table just as the top male players do. I must admit, it was very difficult to play her. Every time she played a shot on the side of the table I was sitting on, I had to turn my head away. WOW!!!! Seriously, she's a great lady and a terrific pool player. She earned my respect.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for answering the post. I went out for a few hours and missed BeeMan's second question. I watched the first half of the match. The center isle was too crowded, I don't like being pushed and shoved, and all the nearby seats were taken. What did you think of her play? I, for one, was very impressed. Having played Karen several times, I believe Jeanette has a great shot at Womens Number One.

She appears to be very comfortable in front of a crowd. Not afraid or embarrassed to lose and very gratious both in defeat and victory. The worst words I heard from her was "darn it" when she missed a very makeable ball while playing me. I mean no disrespect to Allison or Karen but, GO JEANETTE!!!!

I watched Jeanette lose a tough match to Hillbilly at DCC to get knocked out of the 9-ball. She stayed around and signed autographs and posed for pictures for well over an hour after that. Very classy on her part I thought.

He'd get some coveralls and smear some paint on them and then go out and hustle pool. She said that this was not a good thing to do and that George doesn't do that anymore. I can't remember if she said anything about gambling straight up without pretending you're someone you're not. I could easily be wrong about that.

RickS is correct, i read excerpts from her book, and there was parts about george and how he hustled pool, and i remembered one story about how he got a gun pulled on him somewhere in southern indiana after he busted some local, either they was dating or married at that time, i dunno why she would say she doesn't gamble, maybe she wanted to be politically correct, or didn't want to encourage younger readers to gamble while playing pool.
I personally don't like how she dresses, she looks more like a stripper than a pool player, jennifer chen is twice as cute as jeanatte and hardly anyone notices in the states, but she's a famous celebrity back in asia, model/actress/pool player, now that's talent. She likes drawing attention to herself with her wardrobe, you should let you're game do the talking for you, not how u dress, if i wanna see a stripper i'll go to the strip club, not watch women's pool.

Hi Cardiac,

Right now I am in my room at Sam's Town watching ESPN NBA. I was at the tournament and will be going home in the morning. Ms. Lee is a very nice lady as you can see in the attached photo hot from the tournament. How do you like the new contemporary Brunswick table being featured on the tour this season. Hey, pooltablemechanic what do you think of the table?

I didn't stay for the final as it was the "SOS" Fisher and Lee. I'll watch it on TV. I would much rather see some new faces

I have no openion on Ms. Lee at all she is what she is a pool player. I was very proud of her winning the gold medal at the World Games.

Great photo, her stance at the table is identitcal to mine and what I teach which is a basic snooker stance, but back to my point, I cant see no hooters. Give me some good hooter shots, the hell with the perfect stance at the table man.

Well Johnson, this one I'll choose to disagree with you on. Ask your non-pool playing friends to name a pool player, any pool player. I'll bet you (no pun intended) they say "the lady in black". Jeanette is instantly recognizable because of her appearance and choice of clothing. Is Chin Chin Chen any more so? Today, it is way too easy to pigeon hole someone by appearance only.

I spoke with Jeanette at breakfast one morning at the DCC. I found her to be friendly, direct, one incredible business person. She knows exactly what is necessary for her to be successful. Of all the pool players I've spoken with through the years, she is one of the very, very few to realize she's a independent business person! My business was electronics. Hers is a pool player. Want to talk player incomes? I'll bet she is one of the highest paid players, male or female!

Want to talk strippers, check out the clothing choice of some of todays leading female country music stars! I'd call them strippers by night, gospel singers by day. Whose the fake? Them or Jeanette?
