Me of so little faith! On another thread I commented on what I had thought was a underperforming year for Jeanette. Just to prove me wrong again, she goes and wins the WPBA Florida Classic. Way to go Jeanette!!! Still think she should have played in the US Open One Pocket and Banks events. Too few of you guys have seen the level of play Jeanette is capable of achieving. Like Karen Corr, she is just a great pool player, period!

I think Jeanette had a slow year due to the birth of her daughter Chyanne. She is most likely getting more sleep these days and is back playing more pool.

Congratulations on her win and here's to many more!

Hi,
Infants wake up crying at nights and this will disturb mother`s sleep for atleast an year.Congrats to Jeanette.

Besides a new infant, the grapevine has it that Jeanette's back has been very bad recently (multiple previous surgeries) - definitely adds to degree of difficulty. I think it is extremely admirable for an athlete to fight that kind of pain and still perform at a high level. Good luck to Jeanette in Austria!!!

When you are discussing a woman who has had at least five back surgeries, maybe more, in addition to having an infant in the house, I don't beleive there is any such thing as underachieving.

I wouldn't be able to stand at the table. :(

Rich, I agree wholeheartedly. Poor choice of words. However, anyone who watched Jeanette earlier this year and saw the determination in her face, would have also expected more. I honestly thought she could top the WPBA rankings. She is obviously a fighter. And a great one at that.

One of my highlights at the Vegas BCA's last month was seeing Jeanette. She was not there to play. Just making arrangements for her pool school. To see her face light up when I stopped by to say hello was certainly a high point for me. I can't be her number one fan. I think George is, but I'm close. Sorry for the poor grammer.
