I'd say as long as Snookers chooses to put me in a unsafe place then I won't be there.

Well I'll be there to take in the action....

I have all my fingers and I like it that way. So I'll stay in my shop and see the players next week in Albany.

Jeff Olney cues are top notch

Well the pool season has come to an end here in Ft. Dodge, IA. I just got done shooting at the BCA and VNEA state tourney's . I placed 2nd in the Open Eight ball at BCA and at the VNEA state tourney I was shooting better yet and got 1st in the Open 9-Ball.

Did all that with a Jeff Olney cue. I would like to say firsthand that Jeff is a great guy and an excellenct cuemaker. I have yet to shoot with anything that I feel comes close to an Olney. In fact I won a Schon cue wraffle at the BCA tourney and sold it already....with intentions of ordering anouther Olney cue. Here are some pics......enjoy. And feel free to comment. ;) or ask questions.

Thanks..Jeremy

That is a truly nice looking cue!!! Loaded birdseye handle!! Is the forearm kingwood? I have a kingwood Olney, as well has a bocote, cocobolo, ebony etc...

What did you order this time??

Very similiar but I want to try out a SS joint. It will have a birdseye forearm and with 4 points and most likely a stained birdseye handle. No wrap of course. There will be rings in the same 3 postions that will help with separation. I basically used the same template but switched the different types of wood to change the colors. I cant wait.

Jeff does a nice SS joint. I have one on a Titlist conversion and it has a very traditional look/feel. I also have cues from Jeff with flat faced ivory and phenolic, and a nifty flat faced 5/16-18 with a nylon insert in the shaft. That is a GREAT playing cue. I don't know what my favorite is????
