Jerry Franklin South West: "57" Underneath the Bumper

Do you have the engraving on the pin? Why did she suggest a LOA if you do?

No,I have never seen a sticker like that. I usually see some sort of dried glue mark when the bumper is removed (I do not know how to describe that but I am sure those of you who have seen one know what I am talking about).

I agree with you the "matching with the shafts" explaination does sound a bit strange.

Do you have any writing in pencil at the end of the joint collars on the shafts? I thought that is what she uses to match the shafts to the butt.

From what I understand, the rings on each Southwest is a bit different and the dimensions of each ring are recorded in terms of the serial numbers. The idea is if you need a matching shaft for your Southwest in the future, you can just call her up and give her the serial without sending her the butt. If that is the case, she should have no problem matching her shafts with the butt.

Did she explain why the sticker was not found on other Southwest cues?

Your cue is not 57" long, is it?

Thank you.

Richard
