Hey Azer's:
I have been fortunate to have tried a number of break cues including the following: Mcdermott NG-1 & NG-2, Orange Crusher & Anvil and Sledgehammer, Joss Thor Hammer, Predator BK-2, OB Break Cue, Schon Break Cue, Erwin Purple Heart & Purple Shaft Break Cue, J&J Break Cue, Pechauer Break Cue, Cannon Break Cue just to name a few.
I would like to mention that truthfully, I found no fault in any of them and felt comfortable in putting them in my cue case. I have recently though, came across a break cue from "Maidenfreak", a member of this site http://forums.azbilliards.com/member.php?u=64590 and was very impressed with the cue's performance as a break cue. I've only had the cue for about two weeks and have seen immediate results in my overall game as I've been able to stick the cue ball to the center of the table (unless smacked by another ball) and have had champion type run out tables available to me. I really don't know the weight of the cue, but, guessing around 20.0 ounce, very solid.
