Do you have a good Jersey Red story you would like to share?
I met him when I was a teenager at the Cotton Bowling Palace. He played "Squirrel" from Baytown(I think) and also U. J. Puckett. In his words"barbequed them".
A number of years passed. I dropped out of pool and did not see him again until the 90's when i ran into him in a poolhall in Houston, Texas. As always, he was full of stories and still playing but as anyone could understand not at the level of his play in the 60's. Then, I believe he was one of the top 8 or 10 in the world.
