There's a new guy in town looking for $ games. Name's Jessie Hernandez and he's supposedly from Virginia...anybody heard of this guy?? Thanks!

Is he asking anyone to play one pocket? Is he about 5'9", medium to thin and about 50 to 55 years old?

InsideEnglish.....hmmmmmm. This isn't Kelly is it? If not who, the hell is it and who are you being a pool detective for. Cant a guy run around and try to make a little score here and there.

What's it matter who he is, can't any of the eastsiders match up on their own.

Steve

Why don't you play him and find out. If it costs you.. it's not my money.

No it's not your money and I did play him, he racked four sets straight...didn't cost me a dime. Lame reply, BLNT.

Definitely not Kelly. Listen Detroit boyeee it's never hurt my game to find out who I'm playing especially when the guy's an obvious hustler. Maybe once you play for a while you'll figure that out... by the time you do figure it out your Detroit wallet will be empty!

While you're out trying to make your little score why don't you look up a guy in your area named Jew Paul, he'll thin your wallet out quick. Maybe then you'll think twice about who you're playin' player.

I shoot all over Michigan, there are eastsiders holding their own. If you knew your directions, you'd realize you're also an eastsider, educate yourself Jethro.

You shoot all over Michigan huh? Well you don't know sh it and if you could make a ball in the ocean you would'nt be making a lame ass post like this.
So the King is going to thin my wallet out, well you idiot why don't you ask him who I am since you don't know and you say you play all over michigan....I've known Paul for 25 years and just closed my place down in June when the lease came up (THE RAC), ever been there? Of course not cause you'd have to bet something and be able to play and there sure aint nobody can play where you're from.
Posted on Southern Billiards too didn't you. Too weak hearted to play yourself and don't even know anybody to ask so you look around on the internet for someone to tell you. Better get your job back at the fillin station Gomer cause you sure aint gonna make it playin pool, it's a little different matching up for cash instead of the beers you try to hustle at the bar you're the chump, I mean champ at.
I know everybody that can play in michigan, so.......who are you?.....you aren't going say, we all know that. Why don't you come and try to figure out how to empty my Detroit wallet you play so good. Go tell it to the boys around the pickle barrel at the General Store, they might go for your little hick town bullshit.

Sincerely,
Steve Lomako

P.S. Have a great day and try not to blow your moma's money at the bar.

P.S.S. You need to take some of your welfare money to the local sports store and buy some balls cause you sure don't have any right now, or I could be mistaken and they're just the size of BB's.

Hey, this is fun Jethro.....ya'll come back now, heah!!

If he racked 4 straight sets. Then why do you care who he is? It's not like he took you for anything.

Ooh, I feel a match coming on! You two need some sweaters to watch the action and maybe get in a little side bet? I just love to watch some good action! Anybody else know these two plalyers? Let's get some more people posting so we can get a feel for who's going to walk away with the cash!

Are we talking straight up or is there going to be some weight involved? Seems like since the glove has been thrown down so hard, it ought to be straight up. I gotta say, I like what I'm hearing from both of you, but Steve definitely got in a good combination, left jab, right uppercut and a vicious left hook! It's going to be tough to call without some help from the other AZ posters. Come on people, post it up!!!

I think we have a tko here, based upon Stevelomako's devastating response.

Steve, I don't know if you have a nickname, but "Mako Shark" would be a good one. The Mako Shark happens to be the fastest shark in the sea and close kin to the Great White.

btw, do any of you Michigan guys have any stories on Detroit Whitey?

Here's a couple of quick ones on Whitey. If anyone knows about him they know he didn't like to pay for anything if he could get away with it. He carried a little jar of dead bugs around so when he ate in a restaurant he would almost finish his meal then stick a bug in there and call the manager over and complain and get the meal free.
He was also famous for skipping out on motel bills. One time in Florida he made a decent score (about 10,000) and someone went by his motel room and saw his woman handing him his luggage from the 2nd floor window. They stopped and said "Whitey, what the hell you doing? You just made good money, you don't have to skip out like this" Whiteys' reply was "You gotta stay in stroke at everthing you do".

It's also funny that as trecherous as he was he used to pick up and feed stray dogs. We use to see him with 2 or 3 in his van at times. He had a soft spot in his heart for them.

Steve

Rick,

We all know this guy aint gonna bet a match. Here's the scenario, some guy comes in and he beats him a few sets for like 20 a set. Now he gets asked to play some for 100-200 a set and he starts feeling a lump in the back of his pants, gets scared and starts trying to find out on the internet if he's getting hustled. Kinda sounds like that doesn't it.

Anyway, I make my own games and it doesn't bother me if people bet on me or against me, so not knowing this yo-yo since he won't say who he is (little sissy), he's got 9-8 and I'll play him at Oak Park so he can talk to Paul and everybody else while he's there since he's such a big road player. He'll know all of them.........Right! When you click on this forum you can see who's browsing and I've seen InsideEnglish twice now and he hasn't said anything yet since I replied to him, why's that ya think?

When I was a kid my older brother lived (and still does) in Pasadena and my Dad lived in Santa Barbara so I would take road trips out there and stay awhile. Just bringing this up because you might know some of the people I ended up running with or became friends with. Brian Hashimoto, Mark Yamoto, Tim Padget (heard he makes cues now), Donny Carbohahl (foosball champion back then), the late Jay Swanson and others.

Always stayed in Southern Ca., really don't know why we never went north, guess we just always had something going and didn't need to drive up there.

Well take it easy, talk to ya later
Steve

P.S. What about you, seems like you've been around too.

Steve,
I know who InsideEnglish is and if he was browsing the site it was during his JOB, maybe you should get one! Buy yourself a life while you're at it.

I saw the match and he didn't lose a damn thing. It's a legit post to scope out the "newest scammer" in the area and that's just what this weasel was. I was glad to see the post, I was hoping that instead of a bunch of smart a** replies there would have been decent feedback. I guess that's not what you're all about.

If there's a tko to be dealt, I'm sure it will be coming your way.

You should find out what you're dealing with/talking about etc. before you let your mouth overload your a**! The way I see this playing out is Inside will be leaving Oak Park with your thinned out wallet and your cue! My suggestion to Inside is to not bother with you, you're not worthy of HIS time or HIS game.

Steve my personal quote to you "If I throw a stick, will you leave?" :p

Hey Inside, loved the Jethro jab it was very fitting! Keep 'em cummin' I know you will

Ciao baby!

It's legit to ask around on the internet about someone like that?

I can somewhat understand if someone lost more money then they're comfortable with. Then I can understand someone being a little curious as to who a player is. There is a better way to do it than asking around online forums. What does that accomplish? Why doesn't he just have a friendly conversation with him. Sure he could lie to your face. But at least he didn't act like a chump and go behind your back.

The way Inside worded it sounded like he doesn't have the heart to step up and play. In that case I would expect some smart ass posts. After all he didn't excatly dole out the information in his first post. But then again, he beat him for straight sets and since it didn't cost him a dime. What does it matter who he is.

Listen Mattie boy yeah it is legit to ask on the internet, I've seen it numerous times.

There was no friendly conversation the guy spoke like he had a mouth full of sh**. When you're dealing with a guy from out of state who the f**k is it bothering, other than you and the Detroit whiner?

I stepped up, I played and I won. All I wanted to know was if anybody had any info on the guy, period, point! I saw his game, if that's what we're going to call it.

Maybe you should pair up with the old geezer from Detroit, between the two of you maybe you can come up with a game, until then you're not worthy of my replies. BLNT Mattie boy

It's legit huh? because it sounds like you don't have any heart.

You wanted information?? What did you give?? His name and a state. You didn't say what he looked like. What kinda cue he played with.. You didn't even say what game you two played. What kind of information do you expect to get when you post a vague line such as you did.

Hey, this is fun Jethro.....ya'll come back now, heah!!

Ahhh the Detroit mentality...

Fillin' station, pickle barrel, general store, how freaking old are you? Ask your caregiver to wipe the spittle off your chin, change your shi*ty diaper and wheel you to the window to watch the birdies, sounds like you need to chill. I actually thought it was lights out at 10 at the old folks home, did you fork over a bj to your caregiver Pepe' to stay up late last night and reply to my post? BTW Pepe' said to take your dentures out next time.

My wallet isn't fat because of my momma's money Jethro. Oh and mom said to tell you the next time you come to weed her garden and clean her pool that your old a** needs to do a better job, job, job, job...yeah that's your old mind playin' with you again, looks like it's time for your med's.

Oh about your "place" the RAC/SHACK/HACK didn't the landlord tell you that your lease payments couldn't be made with food stamps?

There's a whole lot of players where I come from that will spank your Detroit a** and send you packin'. I'm good enough that I don't need to name drop Jethro and besides none of the guys that I've played with are over 80 so don't rack your feeble old mind trying to think about it. I don't want to be the cause of your aneurism.

The only time I come to Detroit is if I need the rims and tires stolen off my caddie, I guess your '68 Pinto is safe.

Let's not talk about ball size either Jethro...I'm sure once I kick your a** only one will fit in your mouth at a time. Oh yeah take your dentures out for me too, no biters allowed.

Steve and Inside,

You guys are tough! I think you two should just play and get this drama over with. Damn, I wish I was in Michegan right now!! If you guys get a match up, let me know because I might just fly my butt out there cause I gotta see this!

Steve,
I lived in Southern California, Camarillo, for 2 years('84 to '86). I played in Sal Butera's place in Simi Valley mostly. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Swanee but I heard a lot about him. I think there was a pretty good player named Ron Marshall back then but my memory isn't what it used to be. Right now I play mostly in Sacramento, Ca. I get to see Tony Chohan and Amar Kiang play once in a while. I think they're probably the best players here right now. Either one of them would put me in a stone coma! I played Amar in a tournament a little while back and he spanked the daylights out of me like I was his ugly stepchild!!
