It actually doesn't matter at this point. I watched him walk into the pool hall, grab a piece of s**t bar cue and proceed to toy with a guy that's a great shooter. After toying with him for a couple of racks he then ran five straight 8 ball racks and sent him packin'. Yeah I stepped up and spanked him and sent him packin'. BUT I wanted to know more about him. I'm not a hustler, don't need to be, my game speaks for itself.

I didn't post the question to get into a pissing match BUT...(insert verbage)

You don't have to have your girlfriend post for you but it was nice of her. Truthfully........I give her credit, and you for that matter for sticking up for yourselves, but its always nice when people hide behind screen names and can't get up the nerve to say who they are.

If you don't want to play, that's OK, there isn't any shame in not testing your game. Might have been nice though.

Well sonny, got to get to bed now, the nurse's are making their rounds and they'll be by here to put a fresh depends on me so I don't shhiitttttt on myself thru the nite. Got to get up early, bingo starts at 9am then they serve applesauce at 10.
After that......WHEELCHAIR RACES!!!!!!!

I would have been allowed to have them take me in the handicap van to Jamies' place in Battle Creek to play you but they caught me flashing the visitors again so they took away my outside privileges.....Damn bastards.

Seriously though, I'm 44 and this really is fun, it spices up the monotony here. If you ever do want to play sometime let me know, I'm easy to get ahold of.

I saw the match and he didn't lose a damn thing. It's a legit post to scope out the "newest scammer" in the area and that's just what this weasel was. I was glad to see the post, I was hoping that instead of a bunch of smart a** replies there would have been decent feedback. I guess that's not what you're all about.

You should find out what you're dealing with/talking about etc. before you let your mouth overload your a**! The way I see this playing out is Inside will be leaving Oak Park with your thinned out wallet and your cue! My suggestion to Inside is to not bother with you, you're not worthy of HIS time or HIS game.

I get the distinct feeling you both are very good players. And, being good players, you have earned respect for that. I think this thread went a little off in the wrong direction. I'd love see either one of you play. For that matter, I'd love to play either one of you. If either of you gets a chance to come to CA, let me know and I'd be happy to give you a game and/or steer you to some other games. I feel a little bad because I enjoyed your posts but at the cost of you two getting off on the wrong foot.
 
Hey Steve, I had the privilage of meeting Mark Yamato a few months ago. He owns a pool room called the Billiard Connection in Northridge, CA. It's a beautiful place, next time I am in So Cal I will definately stop by.
 
Interesting the way this post turned out. No info on Jessie Hernandez..who was probably a ghost. Inside English should have just went off and found out for himself. Since it was 4 easy racks that he took the guy for. Sounds like a person with no heart, and no game.

A few more posts from them, and they will give away their identity. Of course they wont do that, they wouldnt want to become a target with their shitty game.:D
 
I thought it was interesting how it turned out too. I enjoyed posting smart ass, stupid remarks. That's not usually like me.

I've got a game and obviously the "old man" does too. It's not the wrong foot, it's been pretty damn fun! I've thoroughly enjoyed ragging on him and I the think the feeling's mutual.

The wife's going to San Fransisco in November you want me to set up a match between you and her? If it's possible maybe I'll tag along...how far are you from there?

I agree with what everybody said too. With the trickshot Grindinger guy gone we all have to make up for his smartass stupid remarks.

Seriously though, when I first replied I really thought it was a girl from the Detroit area named Kelly that has a little monthly magazine called.......INSIDE ENGLISH........or one of the guys working for her. Since they all know me and I pick on them about being pool detectives thats who I thought I was replying to.

Just so happened it wasn't any of them (I think) and the guy took it the wrong way. Like Perk said tho, a little more info and someone will know who they are, gave away alot of info on the last post.

He really could have got some info on the guy he was playing but he didn't give any specifics about what went down.

matthew.....I really didn't like making the smartass comments either but I really thought it was someone I knew. Anyway no one said anything shitty till he went off on everybody, no harm no foul!

Rickw......I dont think anyone really earns respect just for playing good. I do know alot of people respect me for the way I've taken care of them. I'll tell ya we never let anyone go hungry in my place and no road player ever had to leave without some money if they went broke whether it was at my place or somewhere else. They all knew if they had to they could stop by and get some road money from me. I've got quite a few names in my notebook of people that owe me money and I guarantee you know some of them, but that's nothing alot of other room owners have done.

Don't feel bad about Inside and I getting off on the wrong foot, we're both men and I know I can take it. Hey, if I'm gonna dish it out I better be able to take it, right! If he came around here and something happened to him or one of his pals I would absolutley help them out. Life's too short to hold grudge's.

I'm only about 2 hours away. Let me know exactly when you're coming and I'll try to be a proper host. I might even rack some balls for you, what the heck. I'm just a hacker and can't play a lick but I like the exercise I get from racking. Maybe you could show me how to really play? If you want some action and you have a little time, I could probably arrange that too. If you do want action, what kind and how much would you be looking for? If not, we can just have some brew and talk about all the crazy people on AZ. Maybe we can get Tom in Cincy to join us too.

She just might...you may need it, she's definitely no slouch. I sometimes wish I hadn't showed her all the tricks in my bag. Guys love to take her lightly, they usually leave hangin' low, truly enjoyable to watch.

You never know the Geezer and I just may meet some day. Not here for a long time, just here for a good time...Geezer will recognize that it's off of Detroit's #1 rock station.

I don't need to be the site a**hole, but I'll always enjoy adding my penny's worth of comments!
