Jim was ranked a 10 and is now an 11 since he won the event. If he plays in three future events without a first or second place finish, he would move back down to a 10.

I was doing fine in the tournament until Stick and Greg talked me into drinking those 5 White Russians.

Hey Stick...I need to borrow a couple of hundred since you bought 2 of the top finishers in the players auction.

Seriously, it was a really good tournament with a better than expected turnout (41 players) and a quality field. There were many comments that it was the most fair handicapping system that they had seen. Check out the results on the main page at racktimebilliards.com.

We are also trying to start a smaller forum for people in the SC area and the Southeast. Check out the Web Page at racktimebilliards.com and post any suggestions, comments, or ideas. Let us know of any tournaments in the area on the tournament page, and ask any pool or cue related questions.

We plan to have another big Spring Tournament.

Also, the Wednesday weekly tournament starts this week. Come out and join us if you can.

None of the guys from Athens made it up. I wasn't able to get to Papa's to hand out any flyers, so none of them knew about it.

By our next big tournament, I will get down there and see everyone. There was quite a bit of gambling going on, so I know Big Nasty and the crew would have been in the middle of something.

hello mike; old man stick here, may i suggest that you put out a book on your desk and get players home address, or e-mail address. then you can contack them personily. It helps, i know when i was running tourny I had mailing list 150 players. I would star mark the ones that showed up mthe most and mail them a flyer.makes them think you a contacking them personaly It helped me ,yes Iwill get you the bye chart as soon as possible best to you and Greg, STICK
